My Gear

A summary of all the photo gear I use to produce quality photos.

I have used two camera bodies in my hobby. I started off with an old Canon DSLR that I borrowed from my parents. When I became very invested with photography, I saved up to get my very own mirrorless. It has helped me do so much more with my creativity with the extra pixels and unique features.

Canon XTi

The first camera that I used that wasn't a point and shoot. The XTi was a great first camera as an introductory for photography because you had to get use to its faults for being a decade and a half old.

Fujifilm X-T20

I bought my X-T20 used, and it has been a huge upgrade the old XTi. Along with the improvements of camera technology over the decade between releases, the portability was a game changer when I first used it.

Fujifilm - X-Mount

XC 15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS PZ

This is the kit lens that is included with the body, however it is good enough for now until I start to crave sharper images...

Canon - EF Mount

EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM

This macro lens is a beast. It is incredibly sharp, and has great stabilization to make macros without a tripod.

Canon - EF Mount

EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM

The kit zoom lens that was included with XTi is decent for day-to-day use, however I have had better results with the macro.
