Deer Lake

Burnaby, BC

We explored Deer Lake just as the sun rose up in the east. There was a stunning layer of fog that swept along the open areas of the park when we arrived,  extenuating the beauty of the grass fields. Combined with the morning warmth of the sun created the perfect opportunity to take some amazing photos of the landscape.

Amongst the grassy fields is a clear patch, specifically for RC plane hobbyists to fly their gliders. I managed to capture some great angles of the plane along with the interesting characteristic of the hollow wings thanks to the morning rays of sunlight.
